Inspire Through Art

At Kid Cando Art Studio, we provide an enriching experience for young children. Our classes are not just about art; they are a platform for social interaction, creativity and personal growth. Drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach, we see children as competent artists. Although we are constantly observing the children in our emergent environment, we try to facilitate their learning through peers. We take notice of what they gravitate towards and build on that interest. Our teachers are facilitators, not the directors, and we get messy along the way with the intention of creating memories and passion for artistic exploration. Our program emerges from the children.

Monday Sensory Explorers

Starting at 18 months

Sensory Explorers is for children aged 18 months old to 8 years old, working independently at various sensory tables such as water, clay, canvas, messy, paint and drawing. The focus of this experience lies in the journey of creativity, using a multi-sensory approach. Children engage in open-ended art tasks enhancing motor skills, creativity, imagination and independence.

Tuesday Sensory Explorers

Starting at 18 months

Sensory Explorers a sensory playgroup is designed for children aged 18 months old to 8 years old and their caregivers. Families can drop in at their convenience between 9 AM to 3 PM for a 90-minute session of exploration and creativity. Led by caregivers and instructors, our goal is to inspire curiosity and foster social-emotional connections in a supportive environment. From water play to painting, our sessions encourage open-ended art experimentation, stimulating the senses and allowing children to discover their unique version of the world. Join us for shared moments of joy and magical memories as your child explores and grows. Leave with a deeper understanding of the benefits of sensory play and the satisfaction of nurturing your child's imagination.
